H A M I L T O N est un trio indie rock, né en février 2005 du côté d'Arras, composé 
de Chris et Sandrine, 2 ex-Gingerbread et de Gauthier, ex-SID. Chris assure la guitare 
et le chant principal, Sandrine la basse et les choeurs, Gauthier est à la batterie et aux 
choeurs également. 
Les influences powerpop, emopop et punk rock du trio nourrissent le groupe 
qui se reconnaît volontiers une parenté musicale avec The Get Up Kids, Samiam, 
Solea, Rainer Maria, Mogwaï ou encore Weezer.
Hamilton s'attachera à faire de l'énergie et de l'éléctricité, les compagnes indissociables 
de la mélodie accrocheuse et ravageuse. Groupe de scène par définition, le trio entamera 
très  vite concerts et festivals et enregistrera MEMORIES, 1er EP 6 titres sorti sur 
Red Plane Records en juin 2006. 

Hamilton is an indie rock trio born in February 2005 in Arras "Rock City", France. 
Chris (lead singer and guitar) and Sandrine (bass and backing vocals) played in the 
well known indie emo powerpop french band Gingerbread from 1995 til 2005. 
Gauthier (drums and backing vocals) played drums in a rock band called SID. 
They were friends before the band’s creation. Hamilton is influenced by the indie, 
emopop US and European scene (The Get Up Kids, Samiam, Solea, Rainer Maria,
Mogwaï, or Weezer… and all the Deep Elm Records or Vagrant Records bands). 
Their music is like a mix between energy of punk rock songs and sensibility coming from 
the old school "emo" rock scene. The band did some shows in France and Holland before 
entering studio for recording his very first 6 tracks EP called Memories 
(released through Red Plane Records in June 2006).
